Dropping a little Grant Green on you today on Jazz88. Tomorrow is St. Parick’s Day so we got that going, plus I just grabbed this record on vinyl from Barely Brothers and I’m excited about this. I used this tune all the time as bed music on The Current when I was doing Radio Free Current and now I get to blow it wide open and play the whole tune. It’s a great groove and of course I love it even more deeply because A Tribe Called Quest rocked it as a sample for Vibes and Stuff. What a treat, enjoy a little Grant Green and have a good St. Patrick’s Day.
