3:33⅓ - The Philadelphia Experiment - Grover

I’ve been old for some time. Sitting on the couch last night with the laptop open blogging away after doing some work and I got the text from Medium Zach, Questlove is at Bunkers. I knew immediately I wasn’t going. I’ve seen Questlove play many a time, he’s incredible. I’ll go again. But who knows how long he’ll sit in for. Or technically if he’ll sit in, but everyone knows he’s sitting in. I got to give him a handshake when my friend Bill Sherman was walking around First Ave with me at the Revolution show years ago. But just knowing that Questlove is in town feels great. I threw my friend Amy the courtesy text, not sure if she went, but her love of Questlove is on ten. And it was just fun to see the electricity, the news posts, the comments, the questions. It’s a great thing when a bona fide great comes through and reminds that your town is great. Questlove, thank you for being older than me and acting younger than me. You coulda just crashed at the hotel, but you made it out and you shined a light on MPLS. For all that and more I grabbed the Philadelphia Experiment and spun you today on Jazz88.
